Yatsani Television Production Studios is a full media production house.
We are a non-profit organization that deals in professional video and audio Productions of all occasions. Yatsani studios was established in 1991. The studio is owned by the Zambia Episcopal Conference but operates as an autonomous body with a Christian ethos.
Our Products
At Yatsani TV production studios we make professional videos such as documentaries for national television, adverts and musical videos. We are equipped with both Analogue and Digital non-linear editing suites.
For broadcast quality jobs, we have both Betacam SP and DV professional cameras and editing machines. If you want quality, you will come to us. We film on Mini DV and even on U-matic cameras (if you want us to). VHS cameras for Home use.
Editing
In the digital editing suite we edit on the latest Adobe premiere pro using the latest version of matrox..

We would like to invite you to pay us a visit! We will be glad to explain more and show you some of our works. Yatsani is located outside St. Dominic’s Major Seminary in Woodlands after St. Mary’s on Leopards Hill road.
Our Staff
Our staff -are experienced and very professional indeed having worked with almost everyone in the industry in Zambia. We do most of the video shooting (filming, if you like) and edinting for the advertisers Young and Rubicam. We have had a long standing partnership with Mr Jeff Sitali and the famous Boom adverts up to last year when Mr Sitali acquired his own equipment. The chances are 50% that if you see an advert on TV it will most likely have been done by us.
Our Director –Fr Paul Samasumo holds a BA (Hons) (Wales) degree in social sciences specialising in media. He also has an MA in television journalism (Nottingham). Fr Paul is also into production., Fr Paul teaches media production especially to new and up coming radio station employees.
Fr.Neal Mulyata- is the Studio Manager. He has an interest in religious film and documentaries. A thorough scriptwriter, Fr Neal Mulyata recently joined us. He currently produces most of our documentaries.
Head of Commercial – Our commercial department is headed by Mr Daddy Chitalu. He is an experienced cameraman and editor. Chitalu has previously compiled SOUNDS ARCADE which shows on ZNBC-TV. At the moment he compiles LUMBANI TIME for TBN-TV. When it comes to non-linear editing and music videos, Daddy Chitalu is your man. He edits on newest acquisition the matrox.
Senior Cameraman and Editor - Religious department – Mr John Simabbudu is an experienced cameraman and editor with over ten years in the industry. He edits in our analogue suite (the old faithful!). He currently puts together Lumen 2000, which is usually on ZNBC-TV every Saturday at 18.30 hours. At the moment LUMEN is taking a break. Senior Producer – Radio. Miss Inonge Mutukwa holds a Diploma in Journalism from Evelyn Hone College. She deals with all our radio programmes produced at the studio. She is frequently to be found writing radio and television. She has a regular radio programme (Word and Song) running on Radio 2 every Tuesday evening at 18.30hrs. In her spare time, she presents her own show every Sunday afternoon from 14.00 hours at our sister studio, Yatsani radio. Catch Inonge on Fm 99.10 every Sunday afternoon.
Mr Charles Mafa-has been with us for over three years now. He operates our third editing suite which is fully digital. He is had the unique distinction of being a scriptwriter, cameraman and editor all rolled into one. He has brought a new writing flair of writing political and economic programmes to our studio.
Mrs. Barbara Mwanza is our Office manager. She is a graduate of Kasiya Secretarial College. She also holds a Human Resource Certificate and a Certificate in Financial Accounting and Management. She manages the day to day affairs of the studio and is our financial Administrator.
Ms. Alidess Mwanza-does our housekeeping and saves the whole studio from starving! She is currently decided to work on our dubbing machines for both audio and video. We cannot wait for her to start.
