Outgoing Pontifical Mission Society (PMS) Zambia Director Father Benard Zulu has bid farewell to the staff and Management Team at Catholic Secretariat.
Father Zulu who has been at the helm of PMS in Zambia for the last 12 years will take up a new apostolate at Missio Scotland.
And speaking during the farewell mass at the Catholic Secretariat in Lusaka, Friday 16th October, 2015, Zambia Episcopal Conference Secretary General Father Cleophas Lungu, acknowledged the contributions Fr. Zulu made to development of the Church in Zambia especially the Holy childhood.
Fr. Lungu also noted the good relationship that Father Zulu had created with people in all dioceses and regions of the church in Zambia.
And incoming Pontifical Mission Society (PMS) Zambia Director Father Edwin Mulandu has expressed pleasure and described himself blessed that he is taking over from Fr. Zulu who has done so well in the PMS office.
“I shall simply build on the foundation he has done,” Fr. Mulandu said.
Meanwhile Fr. Zulu has thanked the Catholic Church in Zambia for acknowledging the works of PMS.
He expressed gratitude that the Church has helped PMS realise its mission and vision and further sent his gratitude to Catholic Bishops for the opportunity accorded him to work for PMS.
