Archbishop - elect, Julio Murat was born on 18 August 1961 in Turkey. He holds a Doctorate in Canon (church) Law. He entered the Diplomatic Service of the Holy See in 1994. His Excellency, Archbishop - elect Murat has worked in Vatican embassies (Nunciatures) of Indonesia, Pakistan, Belorussia and Austria. Between 2002 to date, he has been working at the Vatican Secretariat of State in the Vatican. Archbishop -elect Murat arrived in Lusaka to ake up his new appointment on 10th May, 2012.
